The experimental dance film Pulsar is inspired by the science fiction books and films on the outer space. The choreographic exploration of the body that adjusts to the changed physical conditions, different gravitation and unknown biospheres is motivated by the physical characteristics of pulsars, which are marked by the quick rotation, spiral movement, contracting and pulsating. The dance vocabulary takes in consideration the posture of the body and the mechanisms of its movement in the changed circumstances, as well as choreographic and editing decisions regarding the composition of movement (that is, the composition of image), the transition between frames, the perception of time and space. Bearing in mind the dystopian projections that are so often in the science fiction genre, the uninterrupted, emphasized action is juxtaposed to the abandoned spaces and bodies, and their collision shapes the possible direction of the narrative. Since Pulsar is an experimental film, the story is not told in a traditional way; instead, the atmosphere suggests a possible interpretation. The narrative with poetic and philosophical thread in shape of the character's interior monologue suggests the backwaters that could be developed into separate film stories, but leaves them in the „embryonic“ stage, inciting the viewer to think about the modern life burdened with the must of success and overwhelmed by visual stimuli as a deliberate capitalist attack on the consumer, the life that can easily slip into the apocalyptic wilderness.
