UN DUO DNASE-SCULPTURE

Zrinka Šimičić, Croatian dancer and Denis Tricot, French sculptor, met in the spring of 2002 in Istanbul, where they both participated in the performance entitled C'est loin by Cie des Prairies, a dance company from Paris. This project was the "basis for the artistic experiment" in which the artistic encounter between slow dance, fully in curves, extremely soft and supple, almost extracorporeal on one side, and the broken or suspended mimicking of the bows, closely connected with the body they build. on the other, is almost a natural result of their existence. The music will play an important role. It will sing about the contradictions, travels, and it will offer the mosaical echo of the mixed nations. The aim of this project is to show that the differences enrich us and that the boundaries become futile the minute the arts interfere.
