WARM THRILLS is a dance performance. It speaks of human stubbornness and God's love. It describes the process in which the game of life becomes a defeat, and the defeat a victory. Warm thrills are an internal manifestation of that Love, which appears when the human soul cries out for its homeland.
Matija Ferlin was born in 1982 in Pula. He was a member of dance studio "Zaro" in Pula for nine years and in high school he joined the drama studio of Istarsko narodno kazalište. After graduation, he decided to go for an audition at Hochschule fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt, department for classical ballet and modern dance. In Frankfurt he worked on special projects with Dieter Heitkamp, Helmi Went and Thomas McManus. Persuaded by Tom Plischke, he went for an audition at School for New Dance.
