Zlatko Kopljar was born in 1962 in Zenica. In 1991 he graduated painting at Academia di Belle Arti in Venice, in the class of professor Zotti. His interest lies in painting, installations, per- formance and video art. He has had twenty one-man exhibitions in Croatia, Slovenia and Czech Republic and participated in numerous group exhibitions.

He lives and works in Zagreb.
